Two and a half years after Franck Irle and Jonathan Morgan joined together to form ELIXIR OF SLEEP the Elixir of Sleep EP has arrived.
Ritual #1, Illuminations, and Hydra were written, recorded and produced in February and March 2018, and Catharsis was written, recorded and produced in Spring and maybe into the Summer of 2020.
Franck has his own projects, including his main solo project "ZeroCircle", and Jonathan has produced careers' worth of music since the Autumn of 2013 under his real name, also briefly signing and working with a digital record label too for a while. Both projects are on Bandcamp, and both are arguably of better quality and more mature than music you will hear on many radio stations and even some record labels.
Franck and Jon's efforts combined have produced something of considerable power. In Jon's opinion, some of the best work he's ever done, guitar wise, and Franck commented that working together has given him much joy.
So finally, here you are. The Elixir of Sleep EP. Four songs making up a diverse EP featuring neo-classical, ambient, electronic and hard rock and psychedelic rock sounds. I hope you enjoy listening. It's quite an experience.
